Stages of labor and what support looks like in each stage
Physical comfort measures and positioning
Emotional and spiritual support during labor
Medical interventions and informed decision-making
Advocacy and communication with medical teams
Postpartum support and early newborn care
Ethics, professionalism, and boundaries
Building and sustaining a doula practice
This training is highly interactive and practical.
You will:

Learn how to support partners effectively
Ask questions and receive immediate feedback
Learn in community with other women called to birth work
2-Day In-Person Training
Hands-On Skills Practice during training
Attend 3 Births for real-world experience
Written Knowledge Assessment
Annual Renewal Requirement to maintain certification
